An effort begun by Samford University's Cumberland School of Law in the 1980's, which aids Brazilian judges, lawyers, and academics learn how the U.S. legal system has grown into a program that engages jurists from several nations.
Since 1994, Cumberland's Master of Comparative Law (MCL) degree program has offered an avenue for international students to obtain an understanding of the U.S. legal system by comparing and contrasting it with their own. (Samford University)
