In an effort to assist increasing trade and investment between Alabama and China, the Birmingham International Center, as part of its Spotlight on China, is planning a half-day conference. Senior executives, business leaders, government officials, and community leaders from Alabama and China will discuss common issues, networking, and agenda setting for future business exchanges. China is Alabama’s second-largest export market, valued at over $2.5 billion, and Alabama is ranked fourteenth in exports to China. In 2014, Golden Dragon Precise Copper Tube Group joined two other Chinese companies building manufacturing plants and investing in Alabama.

The Business Roundtable will explore new opportunities & challenges. The four industry sectors to be presented include: automotive, agriculture, aviation & energy.
